They say that 800 years ago a piper freed Hamlin of an invasion of rats. Once the problem was solved, the people's gratitude turned to indifference and then to resentment.

Today, 800 years later, the story is almost repeated. This time it is a pianist, a strange and sinister man who, with his music, frees a city from an attack of wolves. The rest of the story is well known: once the problem no longer exists the people forget their promises and the pianist, feeling cheated, decides to revenge the affront and returns to the city with the wolves to spread chaos and disorder.
