I wander about with my cart made of plywood boards and laden with colours, and I paint shows, audiences and cities live, making up a report of my day.

Outside, with my brushes, I pull my cart and paint slices of life. There are people there, so I paint what they see too: the roofline, the façades and everything around me, even the passers-by. My witnesses are experts: they live locally. My job is to make them into my accomplices.

If there’s a party going on, with movements and colours that draw the audience’s attention while I rush to paint everything, then all the better.

I paint someone quickly and then ask them their name so I can write it by their picture. They give it proudly or grumpily, and friendship passes furtively by.
