A symbolic journey whose point of departure is any region that has suffered the consequences of emigration, exile, famine, war, abandon and humiliation, in this case Extremadura (although it could just as easily be any other), reflected in men and women weighed down by suitcases that may be old and broken yet are packed with memories, the past, stuffed with a thousand stories contained in old photos, broken lives: the luggage of leaving.

The sea, the journey as hope, as a path leading to a better future, the arrival and then the return, the reuniting: the luggage of return, a fanfare of musicians from all worlds, Extremadura a welcoming land, one of homecoming for those whose left, and of discovery for those arriving.

Ten musicians playing live, and thirteen performers (including dancers and actors), will lead us through this beautiful journey.
