Dance, balance and hoop juggling are used as means of expressing the power manifested by both life and death… a magical equilibrium… as well as cruel, which turns chaos into order; until then, an incomprehensible concept, old age, is now seen as a respected path towards a new youth… the power to believe in life, and in oneself…
In India, an old man who senses death approaching may leave everything behind and go out to meet it, he goes to the banks of the Ganges, the sacred river, and sits among other old men and serenely and happily waits for the moment to arrive.
The shadu in this story is making his way to the great river, but on his way, trembling, he stops to rest and falls asleep right in front of the audience, while dreaming of his youth his life departs, and he then wakes up in a new world and carries on walking.
